Dear Steve,
Thanks for sharing. However, there is something I don’t quite understand: why is there such a constant focus by Amnesty on this particular person and not on the rest of prisoners? Is it just because he’s British? Or are there more reasons to put pressure on his case than there are in others? I ask this out of ignorance, not willing to criticize the campaign itself 🙂

It is an Amnesty UK focus (not AI in general), in a effort to try and get British people to empathise with the prisoners. So yes, it is just because he is British.
