How to decide who to vote for in the 2012 London Mayoral Elections

Step 1. Watch the election broadcasts:

Green – Jenny Jones:

Labour – Ken Livingstone:

Conservative – Boris Johnson:

Liberal Democrat – Brian Paddick:

Independent – Siobhan Benita:

BNP – Carlos Cortiglia (a sort of broadcast):

UKIP – Lawrence Webb

Step 2. Go to Vote Match and see which ones match up best with your own views. (it only takes 5 minuets).

Step 3. Remember that the elections use the Supplementary Voting system. Simply, this means you can put down both your first and second choice. In other words, you can vote first for the person you want to win and then secondly you can vote for the person you think is most likely to beat the person you don’t want to win. Clear?

Voting is on May 3rd.
